Threads app is a new app launched by Meta (formerly Facebook) on July 6, 2023. It is a rival to Twitter, a social media platform for sharing text updates and joining public conversations. It is also a companion service to Instagram, a photo and video sharing app owned by Meta.
To sign up for Threads app, you need to use your Instagram account to log in.
Your Instagram username and verification will carry over, with the option to customize your profile specifically for Threads.
You can choose to follow the same accounts you do on Instagram, and find more people who share your interests.
